Level II is designed for beginner students who have had some basic exposure to Italian. Building on your prior knowledge of the present tense, you will begin to learn how to describe events that occur in the past, make basic commands, give orders and advice, and express wants and obligations. Lively discussions about daily routines, the family, food preferences, and vacation plans will help increase cultural awareness and improve your vocabulary and confidence in the language. Textbook chapters 6-9 are covered.
Note: recommended prerequisite: "Italian for Communication I", or the equivalent.
