





Who should take this course?
For students and professionals who would like to focus on preparation for the internet-based TOEFL. High intermediate to advance levels only.

TB Assessment Form (sent at the time UC San Diego Extension International Programs sends acceptance materials)

Program Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Classes are held between 8:30 - 4:30 PM
11 weeks - 25 hours per week (First week is testing, orientation & registration)
Schedule varies depending on level and classes chosen
Required courses:
Core classes for fluency and comprehension
Twelve hours per week of TOEFL preparation classes in:
Listening and speaking skills
Structure and usage
Reading and vocabulary
Writing Skills
Additional 3-6 hours chosen from this list:
Academic Writing
Academic Vocabulary Development
Idioms and Slang
Conversation
Institutional paper-based TOEFL available for additional fee of $75. (Price subject to change)

Books/Materials: Approximately $250
(Payment for all books and instructional materials CANNOT be made in advance and are to be purchased upon arrival at UC San Diego.)
