Who should take this course?

This program is for serious students who want to focus on developing fluency and accuracy in all language skills. Considerable time is spent on grammar, reading, and writing. Intermediate, high-intermediate, and advanced students only. English proficiency level is determined upon arrival. Students who do not have the required English level for their program will take the Conversation Plus program.

Other Requirements to be submitted 30 days before the published program start-date:

  • TB Assessment Form (sent at the time UC San Diego Extension International Programs sends acceptance materials)
  • Medical Insurance Verification form (if student chooses to use their own medical insurance and not UC San Diego Medical Insurance) For the minimum coverage requirements click here

Program Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday

  • 20 hours per week

  • Schedule varies depending on level and courses chosen
