What are Green Belts?

Green Belts often play a key role in the success of an organization’s Six Sigma initiatives. As a member or leader of a high-performing Six Sigma project team, they are usually involved in selecting or defining projects, setting project objectives, data gathering, statistical analysis, and implementing change. To function effectively, Green Belts need to adequately understand and be able to effectively apply Six Sigma basic concepts, tools, and methodologies in a variety of situations. This program prepares people for that role.

Program Objectives

This Six Sigma Green Belt training is generally conducted in two three-day sessions; with time between each session to apply the practices learned in the classroom to a sanctioned project trainees bring to the course with them. The training agenda focuses on learning the concepts and tools, and immediately applying these skill sets to projects. Class exercises are designed specifically to enable retention and application.

The program is appropriate for any Six Sigma team leader or member who is responsible for improving a business process, product or service of a small to medium scope. Attendees can come from a wide range of industries, including:
