Instructors:
Nicholas Loucas, is a 20+ year veteran with both the US Navy and Northrop Grumman Corporation specializing in Process Improvement Project Management as applied to aircraft structures, hydraulics, electrical, flight test, and low observable processes both in Design and Production phases. As the F-35 Quality Engineering Manager/Six Sigma Program Black Belt, Nick provides project leadership and training in the identification and implementation of JSF Manufacturing, Design, & Transactional Process improvements. Nick also trains F-35 personnel in DFSS/Work-Out methodologies including, but not limited to, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Quality Functional deployment, Variation Analysis and numerous Risk Analysis & Statistical Tools.
Ryan Quinnan, M.S., is a Quality Engineer with Northrop Grumman, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and defect prevention methods for a highly advanced tactical aircraft program. He has a Six Sigma Black Belt training certificate from UCLA and has taught Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to students at Cal Poly and UCSD Extension. On a personal level, Ryan is an Eagle Scout, avid world traveler, and enjoys both mountain biking & golf.
