UCSD Extension’s Professional Certificate in Real Estate provides practical training in principles, practice, appraisal, law, finance, property management, sales and economics, as well as investment concepts and market analysis. Certificate Guidelines

The UCSD Extension Real Estate Professional Certificate consists of 5 required courses (25 units) and at least 6 elective units. Real Estate Principles (RELE-40052) and Real Estate Practice (RELE-40017) are strongly recommended as prerequisites for other real estate courses. There are also general interest seminars offered throughout the year. Students are encouraged to attend these to explore current issues and hot topics in the industry and hear from industry experts. The program can be completed in approximately two years, taking one course per quarter.

Industry Requirements

NOTE: Completion of courses in the Real Estate Certificate count towards the educational requirements for the Real Estate Broker’s and Salesperson’s License.
