Featured Course - Abstract Painting II (Advanced)

Discover your own creative language through the use of acrylic or oil paint and the formal elements of design. Students will pursue individual assignments centered around a specific idea or subject matter for the entire quarter. Ideas can range from abstraction (exploration of color) to representation (paintings that narrate a story, or describe an object, person or even an emotion). Students should be prepared to present their ideas to the instructor for approval at the first class meeting.
