AutoCAD II: Intermediate

2.5 Weeks | $525 | Online

Develop an advanced understanding of AutoCAD applications. Create plan and elevation drawings, and learn important manipulation and management tools for assembling and integrating drawings within the project document set. Topics in this intermediate-level AutoCAD training course include advanced commands and drafting conventions.

Prerequisite: AutoCAD I: Introduction; or work experience with instructor approval
 

Software: Autodesk AutoCAD software* (download instructions will be provided by instructor on the first day of class).

*Autodesk recently updated their software accessibility for students:

  • Students enrolled in the CAD/BIM Certificate program: will have free access to the student software.
  • Students enrolled in individual courses: will not have free access. Those students will need to sign up for a free trial or purchase the software.


Please note the following:

  • Students must be enrolled at least one day before the course start date, due to the enrollment process and the short duration of the course. 
  • This course is administered through the Virtual Design & Construction Institute's (VDCI) online portal: ucsdextension.matrixlms.com.
  • The same suggested textbook is used throughout all AutoCAD courses.
