Playing with Pen & Ink

Playing with Pen and Ink is an introduction to ink drawing and its unique effects. We will explore the broad variety and versatility of pen and ink techniques using quill, bamboo and metal dip pens, microns and brushes. Exercises will include practice with line, shape, texture and value, and ways to use gesture, hatching, washes and stains. This class is appropriate for anyone who wants to draw creatively, whether you have drawn before or not.
