In this capstone course, explore current trends and issues in human resource management and apply the knowledge and skills you have gained in prior coursework. Get the opportunity to present issues and problems, attend professional human resource organization meetings, research relevant topics in current periodicals, and meet with other local human resource executives. Topics include organization and legal issues, employee relations, equal opportunity and affirmative action, staffing, and downsizing.
Note: prerequisite: successful completion of all other required courses in the certificate program. No exceptions.
