BioBusiness: Starting, Growing, and Harvesting a Biotech Company

Biotech is a special breed of business. Whether you are considering to join a start-up or you want to be successful in a bioscience organization, it pays to understand this unique business model. During the course you will study and analyze: start-up proposals; the genesis of the biotech industry; biotech categories and growth strategies; the process of spinning out viable product concepts from academia; financing techniques; business development; acquisition/IPO valuation methods; and potentially disruptive technologies. The format is highly interactive and learning is enhanced by exercises, team presentations and case studies.

Note: Space is limited. Early enrollment is recommended. Attendance at the first class is mandatory and drops will not be accepted one week prior to the first class meeting.
