UNIX System Administration I

Develop the skills to effectively handle UNIX system administration. Topics include file organization, disk management, addition and removal of users, tape backups, cron usage, system security and accounting. Extensive hands-on lab exercises with dedicated systems immediately reinforce lecture material.

Note: Prerequisite: "UNIX Operating Systems - Introduction" or proficiency with the VI text editor and a working knowledge of UNIX commands.
