Examine signal and systems analysis in continuous and discrete time. Topics include: complex variables; Fourier series and transforms; Laplace and z-transforms; linear time invariant systems; impulse response; frequency response; and transfer functions. You will also learn convolution and introductory digital signal processing, including filters, aliasing, and the sampling theorem.
Note: Current knowledge of differential and integral calculus, ordinary differential equations, and introductory complex variables required.
