Writing Effective Student Learning Outcomes

Sound Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are guidelines from which we state what we expect our students to achieve. In designing SLOs, we put assessment into the mix and use the results to improve. Participants in this class can expect to learn how to use SLOs to gather pertinent information and use that information to help maximize student performance. This course will cover proper placement of students, identification of student needs and effectively addressing those needs.
