USING THE CA COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS, TEACHERS WILL PLAN WRITING ASSIGNMENTS THAT ARE CURRENT AND RELEVANT WHILE PROVIDING A RIGOROUS CURRICULUM THAT FOSTERS CRITICAL THINKING AND ALLOWS ALL STUDENTS, INCLUDING ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS AND RESOURCE POPULATIONS, TO BE CREATORS, COMMUNICATORS, COLLABORATORS, AND WRITERS.
