Poetry of Place

Can't go on vacation yet? Travel via your mind to far-away places and times, or nearby groves and shores. Become inspired as you read the poetry of Mary Oliver, Billy Collins, Wendell Berry, Basho, and Walt Whitman. One of the biggest challenges in poetry is establishing a tangible environment where the action of your writing can take place. Take this rare opportunity to create, share and discuss your poetry in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere while you learn specific poetic techniques to capture your favorite place and moment in time.
