This event is tonight, Tuesday, June 19th at 5:00 p.m.. Walk-ins are welcome!

Calling all engineers!

Have you had an unplanned change in employment?   Is your current job not meeting your needs?  Have your career goals and interests changed?  Are you switching from academia to industry?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are currently going through a career transition.  During this time, it’s crucial to gather as much information as possible.  Whether that is understanding what skills and experience is required as you search for your new opportunity or just hearing experiences from other people who have recently gone through a similar experience.  This can help minimize fears and maximize the reward.

To help engineering professionals and students going through a career transition, UC San Diego Extension is offering a free, evening event on Tuesday, June 19.  In two panel discussions, industry experts will provide career insights into the engineering field.  Light refreshments will be served.  Walk-ins are welcome.
