Vowels must be pronounced clearly in English in order to avoid confusion. There is a strong emphasis in this workshop on the vowels of American English, the clear production of each one, and the correspondence between written vowels and spoken vowels. This workshop, designed for students with a high-intermediate to advanced level of English, will also introduce the information and exercises which students need in order to retrain the jaw, tongue, and facial muscles so that they can achieve clearer pronunciation of English sounds.
