This course focuses on the correct production of the most difficult consonants for non-native speakers: l, r, th, w, and the voiced/unvoiced pairs f/v and p/b. Other pairs, such as p/f and w/v, and problematic consonant clusters are also covered. Designed for students with a high-intermediate to advanced level of English, this workshop will also introduce the information and exercises which students need in order to retrain the jaw, tongue, and facial muscles so that they can achieve clearer pronunciation of English sounds.
Note: prerequisite: high-intermediate to advanced listening comprehension.
