Short Story Writing I
Learn the essential elements needed to craft a short story such as character, plot, setting, point of view and voice. In this course, you will examine techniques used in celebrated contemporary stories, and learn how to employ them. Weekly writing exercises will teach you how to apply craft elements to your work with the final goal of a completed short story. Each lesson will also provide opportunity to give and receive constructive peer feedback in a nurturing, positive environment.
Note: Open to writers of all levels. Creative Writing I (WCWP-40253) is a recommended pre-requisite.
