Travel Writing II

This advanced travel writing workshop is designed to hone skills through writing and peer critiques. You will work on travel-writing projects of your choice (feature articles, essays, book chapters). Everyone will read several stories before each meeting, and then offer verbal feedback on those stories in class. You will have at least two pieces of writing critiqued during the term (if preferred, the second piece can be a revision of the first).

Note: prerequisite: Completion of Travel Writing I or equivalent. Lectures will be minimal, touching on structure, writing with grace and style and the travel-writing business.
