Who is affected?

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on May 25, 2018. The GDPR applies to all companies processing and holding the personal data of any data subjects residing in the European Union, regardless of the company’s geographical location, and the penalties for non-compliance can be severe. If you process data about individuals in the context of selling goods or services to citizens in EU countries then you will need to comply with the GDPR.

Who should attend?

Anyone working in data privacy. This includes those working in tech firms that sell products online, online marketing or web development companies, data privacy or information security providers, and lawyers who advise on data privacy issues.
