Amy Kathryn Pascucci
MA in TESOL


Amy Pascucci earned her BA in Middle Eastern Studies from New York University and her MA in TESOL from American University. She has taught in a variety of contexts including secondary, post-secondary, adult education, intensive English programs and teacher training programs. Pascucci was a US State Department English Language Fellow in Cairo at Al-Azhar University in 2007-2008 where she helped set up and manage the English Language Resource Center and mentored university English teachers. Pascucci remains current in the field by regularly presenting at local, state and national conferences for CATESOL and TESOL and publishing in TESOL Connections. She was the 2015 chair of the TESOL Employment Issues Committee, and the 2016-2017 IEP Level Chair for CATESOL. Pascucci enjoys teaching at UC San Diego’s English Language Institute and developing content-based curriculum with a focus on technology enhanced language learning. Her volunteer work focuses on teaching English to refugee youth in the San Diego area.
