Cecilia Chow received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California. She has been teaching for about 8 years and is currently a science teacher at San Diego Workforce Innovation High School.
Cecilia has taught high school science in the San Diego and Los Angeles regions. She also has experience teaching in various, informal settings: a volunteer program as a tutor for refugees, UCSD as a teaching assistant in upper division Biology courses, summer programs as a STEAM instructor, and resource classrooms as an instructional aide.
Since 2016, she has been a lead instructor at the launch of Sally Ride Science, Library NeXT, and SAT boot camp programs.
