Elizabeth Humphrey manages internal communications for a global contract research organization where she edits and writes. She freelances for publications and businesses and her credits include pieces for The Writer and Scientific American Mind. Although she has edited for years, Humphrey received her University of Chicago editing certificate in 2011 and a certificate in technical and professional communications in 2012. Her book writing credits include "Idiot's Guide: Gluten-Free Eating" (2014). She teaches Copyediting I and Digital Skills for Editors for the Copyediting Certificate Program.
