Joset Grenon is the director of major and strategic gifts with over 25 years of experience in development, special events and marketing. Her role at KPBS includes developing relationships with major donors and raising leadership gifts for special projects.
She has worked for several nonprofits, including the American Film Institute, the Writers Guild of America and the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she was responsible for leading comprehensive fundraising campaigns including raising endowed funds. She has also spent several years living and working in Belgium and the Cayman Islands, where she spent part of her childhood. Prior to joining KPBS, she served at Lewis & Clark Law School where she led development team efforts to increase annual giving and initiate a major capital and endowment campaign.
Grenon is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and earned her bachelor's in communication & film from the University of Oregon, and her master's in corporate and organizational communication from Northeastern University. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, music, traveling, water sports and spending time with her adult twin daughters who live and work in San Diego.
