Kimberly Cardoso is the director of major giving for Palomar Health Foundation (PHF). She is charged with securing major gifts for the hospital system and works with the vice president and hospital professionals to develop a comprehensive fundraising program for private support from community members.
Kimberly has spent over two decades working for non-profits including Harvey Mudd College, Scripps College for Women, University of California at Riverside, and University of California at Irvine. Prior to joining Palomar Health Foundation, she worked for years at The Claremont Colleges, first as the director of annual fund at Scripps College for women and then as director of major gifts at Harvey Mudd College. Kimberly has served CASE District VII, AGPN, and NCPC.
Accomplishments include leading the professional fund raising efforts that saved the Forensic Health Services at Palomar Health, leading the Annual Giving team that together achieved 59% alumnae participation at Scripps College for Women, growing a technology firm's database from scratch to more than 4,000 prospects, and building strong relationships and a fund up more than $1MM at Harvey Mudd College.

Kimberly earned her BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara in Biology in Creative Studies and her EMBA from University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business
