Nastassia K. Davis received a Doctorate of Nursing with a concentration in Educational Leadership from American Sentential University. She has over 15 years of experience as a licensed registered nurse with a focus on perinatal and public health nursing. As founder of the Perinatal Health Equity Foundation, a grassroots, nonprofit organization, she seeks to end health disparities for black mothers and infants. Her teaching career and interest in lactation both began in 2010. She serves as assistant professor at Montclair State University School of Nursing. Her students benefit from her research, extensive clinical experience, participation in professional committee work, and professional memberships. She lives in New Jersey with her fiancé and is the proud mother of four beautiful children, two boys and two girls ages 14, 13, 11, and 5.
