Specifically, participants will acquire skills and learn how to apply research related to mindfulness, emotional intelligence, social and emotional learning (SEL) to improve self-care on a daily basis. The course involves online videos and a 52 page e-workbook which guides participants to: Create a 3 page personalized self-care plan Develop strategies to manage stress, feel more uplifted if/when feeling down and foster healthy, research based habits to increase happiness Create a plan for empowering students to deveop healthy habits related to mindfulness, social and emotional learning (SEL) and self-care.
