Students will build on prior Adobe Illustrator skills and the creation of vector graphics. This course utilizes vector-based software to create resolution-independent graphics, typographic designs, and illustrations. Topics covered will be comprehensive, including but not limited to: Design features, color methods, text features, gradients, clipping masks, effects, design concepts and design application. Incorporation into other Adobe applications will be covered as well.
Required Materials: Adobe Illustrator (Creative Cloud).
Prerequisite: Adobe Illustrator or equivalent experience.
Note: Basic knowledge of Mac or Windows OS required. In-class students must bring a USB flash drive to class (minimum 8GB) or have a cloud storage subscription available.
