A case is a description of a business situation which provides immersion experience and brings non-native speakers as close as possible to real business situations. Case studies, which are 8-12 pages in length, offer students the opportunity to practice and improve on their decision-making skills through the exploration of complex and realistic business situations. In this class, students at an advanced level of language proficiency will examine, analyze, and discuss contemporary case studies from the business world. Students will use the case studies, and other supplemental readings, to improve critical thinking skills, use business vocabulary, and improve fluency.
