This workshop provides teachers with a survival package of art skills and applications relevant to grades k-12. Participants will be introduced to the basic elements and principles of art and design as they develop compelling visual communication skills. Activities will cover the impact of color, the magic of charcoal, “quick drawing” techniques for motivation and concept clarification and using collage and drawing for storytelling. Acquired skills have direct application for chalk board, overhead projector and a variety of other presentation formats. No art or drawing background necessary.
