All K-12 Dual Language educators and administrators need to carry out assessments in consistent and systematic ways and align assessments with appropriate standards and goals for each language. Assessment outcomes are interpreted correctly and disseminated with appropriate constituents, and professional development is provided to enable teachers to develop, collect, and interpret assessment data appropriately and accurately. Additional topics for this course include assessment in both languages and high achievement in both languages.

Note: This is the last required course in the Dual Language Immersion Program. The first required course is the Pillars of Dual Language Immersion. The second required course is Curriculum Development in Dual Language Immersion. The third required course is Educational Leadership in Dual Language Immersion. The courses may not be taken out of order.
