AVID Extended Learning Pathways (ELP) are online learning experiences that are an extension of AVID DigitalXP. AVID Educators who attended AVID DigitalXP can build on their knowledge of various current educational topics of their choice, taught and modeled using AVID methodologies and teaching strategies. Participants engage in both synchronous and asynchronous learning that leverage technology and include a myriad of resources. Strategies and learning can be applied when teaching virtually, as well as in hybrid and face-to-face learning environments.

Please use the same email and name that is listed in MyAVID when applying to avoid any delays in receiving your transcript.

Note: By paying the program fee (0 unit, not-for-credit) your action will indicate your intent for UC San Diego Extension credit for the AVID ElevateXP Training. Daily attendance at all synchronous and asynchronous AVID ElevateXP summer sessions, site team preparation and participation, and completion of all assignments prior to deadline are required. Upon completion, you will be enrolled in a 1.0 quarter unit university credit course with a letter grade.

The UCSD Extension course dates list do not reflect the dates you attended your AVID training.  If you are interested in receiving credit for your AVID training please enroll in the section currently available for enrollment.
