Summer Institute is AVID's annual professional learning event for AVID members. New and veteran educators come each year to learn the latest in AVID methodologies and strategies to successfully implement AVID in their schools. Enrollment and payment in the Program Fee indicates your intention to receive credit for the AVID Summer Institute training. You should check directly with AVID for your individual deadline.

  • NOTE  By paying the program fee (0 unit, not-for-credit) your action will indicate your intent for UC San Diego Extension credit for the AVID Summer Institute Training. Upon completion of all eLearning prior to the enrollment deadline and daily attendance at the SI training, you will be enrolled in a 3.0 quarter unit university credit course with a letter grade.
