The course covers theoretical and procedural aspects of bankruptcy law and equips the paralegal with the necessary tools for processing a bankruptcy case. Topics include the role of the paralegal in a bankruptcy practice, bankruptcy court, various types of chapter proceedings, adversary proceedings, relief from stay proceedings, contested matters, and other areas relating to bankruptcy law.
