Design thinking is an approach to problem-solving that involves understanding human needs, brainstorming ideas, and engaging in hands-on prototyping and experimentation. Discover how to use design thinking to find creative solutions in your role as an educator.

This weeklong asynchronous class gives middle-school educators an introduction to human-centered design thinking. Participants will work through activities that teach both creative and technical skills. They will apply what they learn as they address the problem of how to ensure online safety for students. Participants are encouraged to work in groups and share their progress on discussion forums to develop their skills in collaboration and positive criticism.
