Demonstrate your familiarity with the equipment and monitoring devices used in an Emergency Department. Complete this course in your own workplace or in another facility under the guidance of a mentor. In addition to a preceptorship checklist, students must possess a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate and Hepatitis B vaccine to enroll in the preceptorship. Participants learn splinting, using auto-transfusing equipment and experience being an integral part of an emergency team.
