This course reviews capital and money markets and the alternative financial instruments available to personal and institutional investors. Participants examine stocks, bonds, mutual funds, metals, annuities, real estate (including REITs), trust deeds, partnerships, money market funds, and insurance products. Sources of investment information are also presented and evaluated as students learn how to allocate assets to achieve long-term investment success.
