In this course, students will use fractals (geometric figures in which each part has the same characteristic as the whole) to write poems. We will learn about what constitutes a fractal and its various uses. Taking this knowledge, students will write poems that mimic aspects of fractals to create a fractal chapbook to take home.
Note: This class is designed for middle school students. The Sally Ride Science Junior Academy courses are designed to inspire young adults to pursue careers in STE[+a]M.
