This course will focus on integrated marketing communications and explore the building blocks of effective marketing programs and campaigns. High school students will learn how to incorporate effective marketing tools into their careers and the strategies of their organizations by learning best practices from case studies. We will also discuss marketing career options. Students will gain experience in a variety of industry sectors and will develop the basics of a marketing plan for a company of their choice.

Juan earned an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and Analytics from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. He also holds a BA from Grand Canyon University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Juan is currently an instructor for the Consumer Finance program on the Viejas Indian Reservation and teaches Elements of Marketing, Organizational Behavior and Business Decision Making courses for the Futures program at the UC San Diego Extension.
Juan is employed at TD Ameritrade Institutional in San Diego, California.
