This class focuses on identifying the different types of GRE questions and teaching the most effective approaches and strategies for each of the question types. A portion of the fundamental knowledge tested on the GRE will also be covered. The teaching methodology is mostly problem based and encourages participation in class and through email. The instructor also provides students with information about useful GRE resources, enabling students to build on the skills and information learned during the class, to put together an effective study plan, and to continue studying and improving outside of class. Students will receive: 16 hours of instruction; experienced instructors; Small classes and additional tutoring, as needed.

GRE Students who do not show for the first class without advance notice to precollege@ucsd.edu will be dropped from the section without refund. Students must contact our student services team at unex-reg@ucsd.edu within five business days prior to the course starting to drop and receive a full refund. Students who do not provide notification within the five business day window, will not receive a refund.

Blake Jensen is a native San Diegan, father, and an aficionado of basketball, vintage video games, pitchy karaoke, and lecturing his son on how much better Star Wars was "back in the day." Blake played college basketball at St. Mary's College and Whittier College where he earned my B.A. in Psychology in 2002.
