When done correctly, it becomes fundamental to an organization's ability to select, train, retain, reward, and motivate the right talent in the right ways to execute strategy. This course focuses on performance management as a contribution to organizational strategy, linking all the elements of organizational success into a single, aligned approach. Students will learn how to design practices and administer a system that fully engages, and optimizes the performance of employees in the success of the enterprise.
Note: Prerequisite is Managing HR: An Overview. This course is an approved substitute for Performance Management Systems (BUSA-40526) in order to meet the requirements of the legacy HR Management Certificate.
