Learn how to capture the landscape in front of you! This six-day workshop will provide you with a step-by-step working method to tackle the challenges of outdoor landscape painting. Students will interpret a particular scene and make thoughtful and informed decisions on color, composition, values and edges. This workshop will enhance the skills of the experienced artist and give confidence to the new plein air artist. All levels of experience welcome. Instruction includes demonstrations, individual instruction, critiques and class discussion. Students can choose to work in oil, acrylics, water colors, or gouache.

Note: For the materials list, see link below, and come prepared on the first day of class. Transportation to various locations in northern, eastern, and southern parts of San Diego and a field easel are required.
