New Project Management Package Options


You can now complete a sequence of classes in as little as six, nine, or twelve months while breaking up the tuition into affordable monthly installments. Extension offers a number of program packages for individuals looking for a more structured approach.

The package options provide set schedules, a definitive program start and end date, and a reduction in tuition and fees for pre-paying for all classes. We offer three package options:

  • Six-month Project Management Package
  • Nine-month Project Management with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Package
  • Twelve-month Project Management with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Package

As always, you may also opt to take individual courses through the traditional pay-as-go option that allows for maximum flexibility to start and stop when you want and take as many or as few courses each quarter, so you can balance life, work, and school. UC San Diego Extension's Project Management program curriculum is bPMI-SD-Main Page.jpgased on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Courses fulfill the necessary education hours required to apply for PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam or PMI’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam. Courses can also be used to maintain the PMP credential.

Transfer to Online Master’s Degree


Upon completion of UC San Diego Extension Project Management coursework, as outlined in the Transfer Course Requirements, 12 units can be transferred to the University of Wisconsin at Platteville’s M.S. in Project Management degree program, which is offered fully online.
