Diaz, Walberto, A native Spanish speaker who has taught at USD, SDSU, and Southwestern College.
Dr. Walberto Diaz teaches Spanish for Communication I , II , III , IV , V , VI , and VII for the Spanish Language certificate program. He is a native Spanish speaker, a writer, and a poet. In addition to UC San Diego Extension, he has been a Spanish lecturer at the University of San Diego, San Diego State University, and National University.
Dr. Diaz has also worked as an ESL instructor, a Curriculum Developer, and a Spanish Coach for the private and public sectors. His research has been focused on strategies to create successful online language teaching and learning. His most recent publication includes two poetry books, Nostalgia and Inevitable.
