"This course is designed to offer students an in-depth seminar on special topics in Teaching Online. This course supplements our regular Teaching Online course offerings. The content of the course changes each time it is offered.
Topics are designed to provide more detailed information and/or hands-on skills in specific areas. As such, the objectives of the Special Topics course are to provide participants with additional knowledge and skills to make them more effective online educators. The knowledge and skills each participant gains from this Special Topics course will ultimately improve their ability to online course planning & design efforts."
Note: This is an elective course for Professional Development. It is not required as a part of the Teaching Online Certificate Program.
