Healthcare Jobs Are (Still) On the Rise

Millennials are estimated to overtake Baby Boomers as America’s largest generation by 2020, but there’s still a huge need to fill millions of healthcare positions to help care for our graying populace.
 
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 18% from 2016 to 2026, adding about 2.4 million new jobs, which is a much faster growth rate than average.
 
As a result, several healthcare areas are experiencing booms including nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, dentistry and physician assistance. Learn more about the growth of healthcare employment in our infographic below.
