Focus on jobs and advancement at UC San Diego Extension education and career event

UC San Diego Extension is hosting the Continuing Education and Career Showcase featuring 21 free workshops on Thursday, September 19. Attendees will have a chance to meet study area representatives and instructors in person and learn about UC San Diego Extension’s portfolio of courses and certificates for career advancement and personal enrichment.

Event participants will have a chance to network with industry professionals and potential colleagues.

The 21 hour-long workshops presented that night will give attendees an over view of industry opportunities and the courses offered to support them. Some workshops will introduce new programs, such as the Brewing certificate. This popular field of study’s workshop is expected to fill up quickly, so early registration is highly recommended. Participants will have a chance to attend up to two workshops. Workshops will cover Engineering, Personalized Medicine, Project Management, Business Intelligence, and Master’s degree programs in Clinical Research, Leadership, and Health Policy and Law, among many other career topics.

The Continuing Education and Career Showcase will be held at Extension’s University City Center located at 6256 Greenwich Drive, San Diego. Free parking is available. Refreshments will be provided by Bristol Farms.

Take your next step and register. Online registration for the workshops at Showcase is now open. For registration and more information on workshops, visit extension.ucsd.edu/showcase.
