If you’re over 50 and intellectually curious, here’s your opportunity to learn more about Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UC San Diego.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, Osher will host an Open House for new and prospective members, 9:30 am to 12 noon. The on-campus event will be held at 9600 North Torrey Pines Road, Building D. (Free parking is available).

Led by president Jim Wyrtzen, Osher’s volunteer leadership team will present information about the fall academic schedule, benefits of membership, and transportation and parking options.

A program of UC San Diego Extension, Osher is a membership-based program for individuals 50 years of age and older who seek to involved in a learning community of peers.

Directed by its 700 members, Osher offers 20 different programs each quarter. Subjects range from archaeology, science and medicine, art and humanities, law and society, international relations, current events, live musical performances, literature, and master courses and lectures from UC San Diego faculty members.
